Rajat Mangla is an Assistant Vice President with GIC’s Technology Investment Group, based in Mumbai. Rajat has invested in companies such as Razorpay, Cred, Flipkart, Swiggy, Locus, among others. Rajat also actively oversees GIC’s venture capital fund investments in India.

Before joining GIC, Rajat was part of the Asia Buyout Fund at Carlyle, where he focused on investments in the technology and healthcare industries. Some of the notable deals he was involved in include Delhivery, Dailyhunt, Airtel Nxtra Data Center, and Medanta Hospitals. Prior to that, Rajat co-founded a healthtech startup and worked with other startups such as Flipkart and Groupon.

Rajat holds a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where he received the Director’s Merit List award. He is also an engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. Rajat enjoys traveling and has visited over 30 countries. He is also an avid sports enthusiast, with a passion for cricket, badminton, and poker.
