Blake Walls is Senior Vice President and Head of Business Development with GIC’s Technology Investment Group. In this role, Blake oversees the Bridge Forum, GIC’s value creation platform that connects C-level executives and other senior level decision makers from global institutions with emerging technology companies.

Prior to joining GIC, Blake spent 11 years at GLG, the world’s largest insight network. He founded and led GLG’s Placements practice (adding independent directors and strategic advisors to sponsor-backed businesses) and held a number of roles in both the research and sales/business development organizations. In his final role at the company, he led all service, sales, and research operations for GLG’s Venture Capital & Growth equity effort in North America.

Blake holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University. In his free time, he enjoys reading military history books, exploring the Bay with his wife and dog, and chasing around his two wonderful, mostly well-behaved kids.
