Gaurav Jain is a Senior Vice President with GIC’s Technology Investment Group, where he leads the team’s technology investing efforts in India.

Gaurav has invested in companies including Razorpay, Cred, Swiggy, Locus and Ola, among others. Gaurav also actively looks at GIC’s venture capital fund investments in India and is on the LP advisory board of several leading funds. Gaurav has also been a part of GIC’s team that invested in leading financial services companies, including Bajaj Finance, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC, and Bandhan Bank.

Gaurav was a founding member of GIC’s Private Equity team in India in 2011 and has worked across GIC’s offices in Singapore, San Francisco, and Mumbai. Prior to joining GIC, Gaurav was an M&A and equity capital markets banker with Citi in India.

Gaurav holds a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and is a commerce graduate from Bangalore University, where he was a gold medalist. Gaurav enjoys unwinding with board games, exploring the hills and lakes around Mumbai and building contraptions using an Arduino for his two kids.
